8/2/2006 - Production photos from the Off-Broadway production of Bill's autobiographical play, "It Goes Without Saying," at The Rattlestick Theater in Greenwich Village, NYC.

A new, one-man play written and performed by Bill Bowers that chronicles his captivating journey from his small-town early years in Montana to his professional adventures as an artist, actor, mime and man.

Directed by Martha Banta, this show began at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, (NY) in 2003, followed by Berkshire Theatre Festival (MA) in 2004, and a NYC workhop reading at the Manhattan Theatre Club later that same year.

Since it's Off-Broadway production, "It Goes Without Saying" has toured throughout the United States at various theaters, conferences and universities.

Souls of Naples

4/15/2005 - Theatre for the New Audience presents SOULS OF NAPLES, a comedy by Eduardo De Filippo, translated by Michael Feingold (Questi Fantasmi, 1946) about a man whose desperate drive to succeed can blind him to anything--even another man's passion for his wife. When he moves into a supposedly haunted house, he is able to delude himself into believing that her lover is actually a ghost. Featuring John Turturro, (Life x 3), Max Casella (The Lion King), Didi Conn (Grease (movie), Lost in Yonkers), Aida Turturro (The Sopranos), Felix Blaska (The Garden of Earthly Delights), Bill Bowers (The Lion King), Juan Carlos Hernandez (The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told), Rocco Sisto (Amadeus) and Francesca Vannucci (Pirandello Project).

Peter Pan

9/1/2003 - In a stunning new version of the J.M.Barrie classic adapted by John Caird and Trevor Nunn, Bill Bowers appeared as the energetic Narrator/Tinkerbell at the Unicorn Stage at The Berkshire Theatre Festival in 2003.

Fully Committed

4/1/2003 - The play is set in the basement of a four-star restaurant on the Upper East Side of Manhattan where the waiting list is completely booked, or "fully committed" as the chef says, for months in advance. Members of New York City's elite and not-so-elite crowd will stop at nothing to get the reservation they so desire. Aptly portraying restaurant culture, the play follows a day in the life of Sam, a struggling actor who answers the red-hot reservation line in the restaurant's office. Playing more than 40 characters in this one-man show, his performance was described as this, "Bowers' comedic style might be defined as Robin Williams crossed with Martin Short...Charming, likeable, and energetic--a tour de force."

Bill performed this play in theatres in Arkansas, Tennesee, and Connecticut.
