WASHINGTON, D.C.--As part of their free arts series, Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival presented two solo mime artists and master teachers together on stage for the first time.

Daniel Stern, Director of Training at Dell'Arte School of Physical Theatre in CA, and Bill Bowers, resident artist, teacher, actor (former "Zazu" in the Broadway company of THE LION KING). Each gentleman performed half of a one-hour presentation of their original pantomime creations.

Visit the Kennedy Center Millenium Stage Explorer website archive for live video footage of the performance, at: www.kennedy-center.org.

Mr. Bowers performed second, and his portion included four excerpts from his original one-man show UNDER A MONTANA MOON, including "Half-Dollar Saloon," "Montana Moon," "Bird Song," and the shocking, yet profound, "Prayer For a Boy," in memory of the late Matthew Shephard.

(The video clip lasts about 56 minutes. To view just Mr. Bowers' portion of the event, fast forward the video to the 28-minute marker. Note: You will require either a Flash Player plug-in for your web browser or RealPlayer in order to view the footage.)
